These hard neck blossoming varieties of garlic were brought to this country from Europe. They have names like German Red, Killarney Red, or Spanish Roja, and a few others. We selected these varieties because of their robust flavor, with an unusual spicy after taste, which has put them on top of the list at many taste tests. The only problem with these flavor gems is a very short shelf life of only a few months compared to their year of growing cycle.
This lead us to discover a process which allows us to dehydrate without the loss of flavor. Our process also produces garlic flakes, which cook into little slices of garlic, not a tasteless paste.
We proudly bring you this 100% organic, full flavored, garlic in its easiest to use form, and we hope you enjoy this garlic product as much as we do here on our farm.
